It's been a great 22 years with some seriously good hate.

Shouldn't a rivalry have to be mutual?

That's a good point.
I'd say that Ole Miss, Arkansas, Texas A&M, and Florida all share mutual feelings with LSU, some feelings more bitter than the others.
I do find it funny that so many LSU fans downplay the Arkansas and Florida rivalries, though they're both more mutual rivalries than any from the state of Alabama.

quote:Some of the most exciting games LSU has played versus a "quality opponent" in the Saban and the Miles eras have been the games we've played versus Arkansas. Even going back to the Cholly Mac years, in an amazing and exciting upset victory, we beat the #2 ranked 22 straight wins Razorbacks 14-7 in the Cotton Bowl with a lowly 7-3 Tiger team. But in more recent years, I remember them breaking our hearts more than once; they always bring their A-game to play LSU. We ought to be glad to have the piggies as one of our chief rivals, and I for one, appreciate them.
The golden boot is the biggest sham of a rivalry in college football.
No it isn't. No matter how much you people want it to not be a rivalry that occasionally eclipses your obsession with the school two states over, it's a rivalry and a great rivalry

A couple of breaks the last 2 years and we might have gotten into the BCS games

I know it won't be close, but there should be revival of LSU-Tulane rivalry.

Anyone ranking bama at the top of the list must have started following post championship years.
Sorry, you can't rank a team #1 that would not even place you in the top 3.

Agree 100%. I'm embarrassed that LSU fans them so much and we aren't even their rivals.

1. BAMA
Then I don't care. Ole Miss next I guess, I don't like them very much at the moment and they are an old rival.
The rest in any order
Auburn
Florida
Arkansas
Tennessee
ETA Tulane is above Ole Miss. I hate everything Tulane. I thought it was just SEC teams.
