Yeah, I think that's a good point. You really can't have film on what Washington was gonna do tonight. You could watch some USC film, but you can't really translate that to Washington because there is no way they are capable of running the type of stuff Sark ran at USC at this point.
A new system with a new coach and a bunch of players that you aren't sure what you get out of them in terms of skill sets and such and I can see why it would be a bit challenging to gameplan against... and part of the reason why I think we played better in the 2nd half.

If I remember correctly, Chavis made the comment in the offseason that at this level the secondary should play mostly man to man. Tonight we played zone until the 4th quarter when the game was in the balance. This makes me think that the scheme may have been very vanilla in accordance to the gameplan. I wonder what we will show next week in a conference game.

it was "known" after a while that they were tearing the frick out of us laying off and not blitzing. his non-adjustment was awesome. i can only hope that he was just really hungry because of not getting good food in washington and he let his mind wander.
