Yea, we've played better offenses, but you really think Oregon or WV would light them up? I mean, the worst D in the SEC last year stopped Oregon in the BCSNCG. I think if Bama had our schedule so far, they would be 8-0 with almost identical scores.

I'm not refuting that. I just don't think they are as good as the media is making them out to be. They are a good team, but I just don't see it being as good as last year. To me, one unit went up, two went down.
And yes, we have a HUGE advantage on special teams.

But offensively no way. You don't lose guys like you lost and step up. There is always a down swing. Let alone you haven't faced a team with a pulse yet (hence the gaudy defensive #'s)
Well, offensively, the 2010 was better than the 2009 team. Last year, the problem was on defense. It was just too young. This years defense is 10 times better than last years.

Shutting down 4 teams that rank in the 100's offensively prior to playing them should be considered "MUCH better?"

You played 2 of those same teams and will play the 3rd later. Florida lost Brantly IN YOUR GAME, and you played Tenn with Simms. And both Bama and LSU beat both teams by about the same margin, and we throttled Auburn, who you also play later and most likely put up 35+. You can't compare things like that when both Bama and LSU play those teams. Dumbass

To be fair, the media hype is always there. NS is a great coach and has great players. Going into 11, I thought 10 bama was better. I think it's obvious 11 is a better team because of the experience on defense. No one will beat the winner of nov 5.
