It's nice to see a coach getting players, an Xs and Os coach at that.

All things considered thats a nice pickup.

Combes, Texas: a short drive down US 77 from...

Where does he fit on depth chart?
Who has a stab at a depth chart?

Depth chart:
Post - Reath, Kiir, Combs, Epps, Robinson
Small forward - Sims, Alexander
Shooting guard - Sampson, Jenkins, Hayward, Rachal, Edwards
Point guard - Mays, Patterson
That's 14, so someone has to go, or at least go off scholarship

Reap was one of our best players last year and will improve greatly with coaching.

Mix of Duop and Reath!

Mays
Sampson
Edwards
Combs
Reath
That's my prediction on the starting 5. I know Wade recruited Edwards to play some point too so maybe he's ahead of Mays and Jenkins is a starter at one of the off guard spots.

Well even if we don't have a great season to look forward to, although always optomistic until proven otherwise, it will be interesting just to see who gets the playing time. Will it be mostly the five new guys or will we see a lot of improvement in the returning players?

Combs is not a 3, he's a PF/C. Plays very strictly almost around the rim.
It will be either Kiir at C and Reath at PF or Reath at C and Combs at PF as far as starters go. Probably the latter, but I think Kiir and Reath on the floor at the same time where Reath can play the 4 would be most comfortable for him.
