what did they do that one upped us this year? I must be forgetting something unless you mean the fact that they made it to the championship, but still....? What am I missing, lol

I can honestly say that I was more shocked by Texas's NCAA playoffs run this year than by LSU's winning streak last year.

eta: Now I am shocked that they competed with us the way they did. Five homeruns in one game, only one run given up another game against our team was impressive.

Thank you for your compliment. And for what it's worth, I agree with you in that our fans can make a difference. I think our players can feel it too.
I wasn't there, and taking nothing away from the Texas pitcher in game 2, but the LSU fans just weren't into it that night. Sitting at home, I could feel it. Our fans are definitely part of the team.
