all of this is a fail
know more guys who have gone from sports to news than the other way around
only one I know that went from news to sports was George Lapides in Memphis

How do you prove such a statement unless both Hicks and McCarthy confirm that it happened? You end up with a he said, he said situation.If the Reveille or any newspaper doesn't have concrete evidence, they shouldn't print the article.
