He has been coaching other shite besides them. If you let Peveto coach the LBs and someone else come up with the scheme, he does well. Ala Beckwith, Highsmith, Sanders, Cutrera. He has developed some LBs that weren't ranked very high to begin with.

Did not live up to the hype.
Beckwith was great in 2006 but got worse, if anything.
Everything Peveto has had a hand in at LSU has been bad. special teams, defense, linebackers.

Beckwith got hurt. Peveto is not at fault for Sanders being hyped by a bunch of dumbasses.
He was horrible at Special Teams and horrible at designing a defense, but Peveto knows how to coach LBs. Just watching the games isn't enough to tell you whether the LB's have been developed. Every starter last year will have gotten a shot by an NFL team. Go look at our recruiting at LB then look at their production.

Well, when you refuse to bump a fricking receiver off his route and not even remotely disguise your blitzes, I'd think your scheme should be questioned somewhat.

Thank you, just because something is repeated a lot, doesnt make it untrue. These guys weren't just hired off of the street to be position coaches. They were promoted to run someone else's scheme and didn't do it very well

Great photo. Best two uniforms in college football hands down. Looks great when they play each other.I still hate Ole Miss though.

Would have liked to see Ron Brooks play in the secondary this year. And Brandon Taylor should have gotten a chance too. I think too much was made of schemes and technique, and not enough about players playing.
