I don't know why I'm going to say this, except to give LuckyLes ammunition because I find it humorous to see him try to bash LSU, while all of you bash him back. But of Alabama's 12 titles, one of them actually was a two-loss season, while the other 11 were undefeated or 1-loss seasons. I do believe they've had one or two years where they went unbeaten and claim nothing, so Alabama doesn't claim stuff all the time.

Not to be all nerdy about the movie, but Hank's character didn't give Ryan a medal, he gave him his ticket home, his chance at life. This is most likely what Saban was referring to in relation to Miles. Saban was taking a shot at him, pretty much saying "I gave you your ticket, that stellar team you inherited, but now you have to earn your title."
