like i said in another thread i just started, we are going to have 250,000 people claiming they stayed until the end even though there might have been 20,000 in there at the most at the end ..

I seriously doubt that.
This game will (and should) soon become a relatively minor footnote, in Tiger history.

Sorry, I'm not on this board 24 hours a day 7 days a week. I'd like to be, because I miss all the refreshing original combacks to Newbie's posts. I've never read somebody make some smartass comeback like they invented the internet and somebody else follow up with X2 or X3. Whew, that's original.
Let's make sure we jump all over the comment about my Mom who braved the cold and the wind to cheer on the Tigers. She hadn't been to a game in 25 years and what a fun game to return for. Sorry a bunch of No-Show, Leave-Early, Duck & Deer Shooting, Band-Wagon Jumping On & Off Pseudo-Tiger Fans are bored by my lame observations.
But I say thanks to you Lame-O Tiger "Fans". If it wasn't for you, I couldn't have been able to invite the whole extended family out for a fun day of tailgating & what turned out to be an exciting comback by the Tigahs.
Don't like it, don't read it, I say. Otherwise STFU.

LoboTiger58, I totally agree with you! Why even go to the game if you aren't going to stay till the end in support of the team, in good times and in bad. Fans that leave early SUCK!!!

Great point
I happen to fall into the second category. I left after LSU went 3-and-out early in the 3rd when the score was 31-3. Mainly because my contingent was hell bent on leaving and I was to cold and disgusted to argue with them anymore. So I gave in to their demands and left. I have been regretting the decision ever since and it won't happen again.

I left the game early for one reason and one reason only. I was utterly disgusted by the play of LSU through 2-2/3 quarters. I'm not going to sit in the stands and boo the team because I don't agree with that. BUT, if i'm not going to boo there is only one way for me to legitimately "voice" my displeasure and that is to leave the game.
Agree with it or not, I don't care. I do find it funny that the topic of conversation that is so prevalent since Saturday night isn't the sub-par play and preparation that LSU demonstrated for the better part of the game, but rather how anyone who left early isn't a "true" fan and that they should be ashamed of themselves. Yes, the fans can impact the team, but to deny that the team can impact the fans is just asinine.

you signed up a year ago and this was the first thing that compelled you to finally post on here ?
Like the supposedly mute boy said after speaking for the first time by complaining that his mother burned the toast one morning, "Up until now, everything's been OK!"
I've just been enjoying all the intelligent debate and enlightening rhetoric for the past year. I especially enjoy people like Excelsior & BgWinLSU who rail on Newbies like they invented the internet and / or TigerDroppings and them some original thinker like SaintLSUnAtl always says something like X2 or X3. That takes alot of intelligence as well. Perhaps you should take your own advice and have a new and refreshing post (X2!)
And Godfather, I agree. Who should really care what any of us think? Why would someone spend his time on a message board reading shite that he didn't care about? Oh wait that's you. Don't like it, don't read it, otherwise STFU, I say.
Jack Burton & MRTigerFan, at least you have reasoned comments of your opinion or reason for leaving. I just don't happen to agree is all. Why pay money and spend your time going to the game and then leave early? I don't get it. I never have and I never will.
Maybe it's because I only get to go once or twice a year now if I'm lucky so I relish the moments I get to spend in Tiger Stadium. Maybe if I lived in BR it would be different. I doubt it, because like I said, I lived thru the glory years & end of Charlie Mac, Bo Rein dying, every other year Jerry Stovall, and Mr. Personality Bill Arnsbarger. Since then, its been mostly on TV.
