The previous coach was just as successful in half the time. 2 SEC titles and 1 NC.

actually...Saban got his NC in his 4th year....Miles in his 3rd. Saban also got his 1st SEC title with 3 losses.

Pretty sure NS was referring to people just like you when he said this ...

"Mediocre people don't like high achievers and high achievers don't like mediocre people"

Easy to see where you fall... No need to "look it up"
I bet you always win the party though!

ummmmm, there are plenty facts in this thread if you know anything about football or have watched any football. the ones about performances, OTFD, player and game management, preparation, crapping the bed annually over 9 years. Schools like OSU, UF and UGA having ran off winning coaches and then doing better. It has been laid out a million times like tiger n ATl has said but not a single miles nut licker will admit it for obvious reasons.

it gives me great pleasure in knowing that Les Miles will end up as the winningest coach in LSU history and it kills a little part of each one of you.

Ok, but at one point nebraska and oklahoma and ND prob thought the same.. while I appreciate what was that donesnt mean Im content with what is... thats another difference between someone such as myself that doenst like being second and someone such as you who is satisified with mediocrity.

Associating your "winning mentality" with a college football team is pretty fricking lame.

Fine to criticize Les for whatever you want. He deserves some. But saying you can associate people's mentalities toward success by how they appreciate a football team is something else. Pathetic.

I stand corrected. And Miles won his NC with two losses correct?? And also coached his team to the only shut out ever in the BCS correct? And had a BCS title game and SEC Championship game loss correct?? So is it safe to say that Miles has bigger failures in his tenure than Saban?? Just trying two see where the Miles is best argument is coming from. If he has more wins than Saban at LSU, he also has more big game losses. And they are equal on big game wins.

yes. Saban backed into the SEC Championship

yes...and the only 13-0 season and another SEC championship

Miles never lost to team like UAB....at home. and Saban only had less than 3 losses once. you know...the same amount of losses you want Miles fired for.

wins, winning percentage, championships....shite like that

Miles backed into the NC. A 13-0 regular season that no one other than Miles lovers will ever remember due to the 21-0 embarrassment. They have same number of championships at LSU. Miles has more big game flops than Saban did. Miles loss to an OM MASH unit with a top 10 team. Miles took over for Saban. Saban took over for Dinardo. Oh, and they have the same number of Championships. But Miles is the best LSU coach EVER!!

You prob shouldnt go there.

Fact is we've lost past 3 to alabama.
Fact is alabama has won 3 out of past 4 NCs and pretty good odds of making it 4 in arow and 4 outa last 5.
Fact is Alabama embarrassed LSU in the second half of the most recent matchup.
Fact is Nick saban and staff is doing pretty good job coming to Louisiana and getting players they want.

And the biggest fact is... I hate Alabama as much as anyone here.
I love LSU as much as anyone here, but Im not gonna sit here and pacify myself by saying Ole Les is the "winningest coach in LSU history and we should be proud of out top 10 program" to detract attention away from whats happening over to the east a state or two.

Like I told you earlier... whatever makes you feel better bro, obv that does it for you.
