Why in the monday's press conference, was LM so reluctant with the compliments for the job KW did, but heavy on skepticism, implying"if he continues to run well" why didn't he say something positive like' i know he'll continue trying his best or something. he need's to shorten his memory on not so perfect incidents of the past and lenghten it when players come back off of bad injuries and cut them some slack from the doghouse.

I think being in the I-formation with CS at FB and KW at RB gives us the advantage of flexibility and disguise. With the one back set, we are more predictable. With CS in, look for a run up the middle. With KW in, look for a run outside. With both in, you can still run KW outside, but also hand off to CS for a quick hitter up the middle. Plus it keeps a back or two in to protect JJ until the OL gels a little better.
My thoughts as well. I watched my Tivo of the game and saw several good blocks by CS cutting down the defender, which helped KW turn the corner. I think CS can bust some quick hitters up the middle when teams start looking for KW outside.
