Bama/LSU in BCS tile game...bank it!

It won't happen! It won't!

I'm not scared and I know the players damn sure aren't. It simply won't happen.

The voters are going to vote for a rematch between the two teams that had a 9-6 game the last time they played?

Or would they award it to a team that hasn't played the #1 team? Particularly if that team was in the Big 12 which the computers have loved all season. Ok. State is #2 in 4 of six computer polls. Alabama is 2 in 4 of them.

This isn't what some people get..... We've already played them. Period. Combine that with the computer scores with 2/3 of the human voters...... it won't happen.

If the voters didn't vote for a rematch between tOSU and Michigan in '06 when they played, a month before the BCSNCG, after that score was 31-29, they sure as heck wouldn't do it in this year's case.

Bama goes to the Sugar and they'll smoke whoever they play.

Y'all think the voters will sabotage the polls? Who wants to watch a team that lost to Iowa State? I was disappointed to hear all of the ESPN talking heads on shows like ATH and PTI say that Bama and LSU are two best but shouldn't play in title game? WTF kinda sense does that make! The pollsters are mostly responsible. Should have punished Bama more for losing at home and drop them to 5-6 instead of 3. Bama committed murder and got house arrest. The pollsters are the cause. The effect will be Bama waxing Auburn and having the biggest advantage in all of CFB. LSU beats them at their place and has to play an extra game. In any case, LSU and Bama -- if 1 and 2 -- should play. I don't care what the outcomes of prior rematches have been...that's just absurd and if the AP and coaches decide to move Oklahoma State or Stanford or even Houston to #2 and vote totally against the way they have voted all along, then the BCS (which usually works) should be ended just because of one poor year alone. Not saying playoff, but get the Coaches poll out or get the Harris poll out and make the computers count for half and then a human poll of random voters the other half.

Woody Paige and Adande both said today that LSU and Bama are 1 and 2 but should not play in the title game. They should be fired for such stupidity and other totem pole bottom feeder sports writers will be influenced by their thinking. How plain fricking dumb. They create the monster and now they do not want to take responsibility for what they are largely responsible for. I don't even know if they get votes in the BCS, but they are talking heads and many idiot writers will adopt their agendas.

Rematches are popular in boxing and other sports have multi-meeting games such as college basketball, where certian teams could play each other up to 4 times. CFB is a different beast and that is what we all love about it, but why a rematch should be shot down when it's clear that LSU and Bama are two best teams is stupid. If they were not in the same conference, it wouldn't be that bad ala Florida and FSU in '96.

Also, the Sugar Bowl is a death sentence for a team that's not from the SEC unless Arkansas is playing Ohio State. Pit two teams who would both destroy an out of SEC foe in the Superdome against each other. A rematch makes more sense than people think. If the damn idiots would get over the fact that the game was a defensive struggle/ugly offense display...if they cannot, then LSU beating Oklahoma State 49-14 or Bama belting Stanford 35-7 is what they deserve.
