Please discuss Mike Slives agreement to honor our tradition our lack of non conference morning kickoffs since 2014 and then now theUtah state time in light of the bama letter.
can you provide a quote saying we will never have to play an OOC day game at home?
This has happened how many times in the last 10-15 yrs? Appy st was 10 am because it was rescheduled

We used to have more night games, but we used to also either not have the game broadcasted, have it ppv, or on tiger tv.
I almost rather it be broadcasted on the alternate secn channel for a night game, but I'm sure the advertising dollars would rather there not be two competing games on the same network

so its just an absolute coincidence that the first non conference game after bamas complaint is a day game?
Seems like one hell of a coincidence

Right? And how many people have already made plans based around this being a night game?
Seriously, frick the gumps, frick the rec, does Bama have something that can be poisoned? They deserve it

I know things change and game times are driven by TV.
But there is a point about tradition.
It is only with the advent of ESPN and the SEC Network that other SEC teams play at night. Until then most, including Alabama played during the day. The only time other teams played at night if there was a double header, like the 2 Mississippi teams playing in Jackson.
LSU played all its games at night. The Tradition started because Tulane played during the day. LSU played at night to give the New Orleans fans a chance to get to BR. There was even a train that came from NO and stopped at the old golf course and returned to NO. This was also one of the reasons for the night games. (Boy to be on that train in 1958)
So night games have been a tradition at LSU for a long time before Alabama and the rest of the SEC and should be respected just like the other teams traditions.
BTW back then there was only 1 game on TV. It was during the day. Bama didn't complain about day games then.
Also speaking of tradition, why didn't LSU get to wear white, on Saturday. That is a tradition. But we were told we had to wear a dark color because Vandy was wearing light grey

I want to see someone from the SEC deny this was said
Why? You aren't going to believe them if they do deny it so what difference does it make?

Bamas president and AD specifically used the date 2014 for a reason.
Can I get a link to what the bama AD said to start this whole hullabaloo?
