That I started to see that glorious true LSU tiger football reality in the beginning of the second half in the cotton bowl from last year Texas A&M victory. LSU started playing football players who I never knew about. And that they were catching our eye allover the football field. Playing better in fact then the starters. My reaction then was, "Who are those guys"..."Holy Cow".
Big very fast college football players. And a lot of them. That became the real obvious feature of this present 2011 LSU team. That in reality this 2011 LSU football team has a lot of big fast college football players.
Who was the man or men that recruited these players. And pray tell, who was the man or men who trained these good college football players to become in reality the very best college football team in LSU History?

Wow. Talk about revisionist history. I guess that means he had a major contribution to the first 4 games of the season? Addition by subtraction? Let's give him credit for wins in whatever games he attended as a HS senior in 2007 too then. Not a big surprise coming from you.
He has played very well this year on the positive, on the negative, he continues to be one of the most polarizing figures in recent memory. He hasn't helped himself with his "I am awesome" interviews. The best thing Les has done for him besides treating him with kid gloves on the field is to restrict access to him for the press. The ones that snuck in and got the "I put the team on my back" told me that he hasn't changed the all about me attitude.
Whatever ultimately comes out about Shadygate, it was a major distraction and has turned publicity away from our play on the field since before this magical season started. More attention on the individual than the team, and frankly, most of September ended up being about that instead of 3 wins in 4 weeks over Top 20 teams, all on the road.
This is a great group of seniors and I hope he, T-Bob, JL and the others that have been maligned by our fans over the years all get an ovation. I am certainly not his biggest fan, but if I weren't having to miss, I would be standing and clapping for everyone for donning the purple and gold.

There won't be any boos. I'd like to believe that when fans boo when he comes in that it's not at him. I know I'm wrong and that it's disgust towards the coach and him, but I'd still like to believe it isn't. He's been a valuable part of the team for the last 4 years and he deserves some cheers for that.
