sunbelt 20'. The purple and gold checker board
LINK
We have 6 10x10 tents right now and it's a pain in the arse for the 2 of us that setup at 6AM. That entire tent goes up in less than 90 seconds and can strap to a dolly for storage and portability. Well worth it

How's the sound on those? Good quality? I've heard some at guitar center that sound like shite in that price range. I would love to stay in that range if possible

i have a lot of experience with those. I hated mine. It only lasted two seasons too. Maybe they've improved their product though.

I'm going to guess you're talking about the tent and not the speaker

Get torn or something? That's been my only worry

It's legit. The shania twain in me approves.

I want one for the same reason, it becomes a pain in the arse setting up tents with 2-3 people.. What's the price on that bad boy?

heard that..
It's about $2100. We sent out emails to everyone to get it divided between about 20 of us to make it a little easier on the checkbook

I added a cheap DJ mixer from ebay that works great. Have a laptop running media monkey for music and dish network for tv connected to it and hooked up a mic. Here's the link to the mixer. Used "make an offer" to get it for $20, plus $22 for shipping.
Also added a pair of Polk Audio Atrium outdoor speakers for a surround sound effect. Allows me to reduce the volume of the main speakers some.

yeah talking about the tent. i actually met the guy in tuscaloosa and had the first one on campus. He told me any business i brought him to LSU he would give me $100 for each tent. Never saw that money but oh well. The blowers he gives you overheats really easily and boom your tent is down. I never even tore it. The material just started to stretch and air would seep out. So at first it only required one blower. After year one we had to set up two but by the end of the second year it wouldnt even stay inflated. It only had a one year warranty so i didnt have any recourse but i was kinda hoping we could work something out since i brought him a lot of business and he didnt keep his word on the commission. But he wouldnt. He will tell you the tent will last you 10 years but like i said ours definitely did not.
Also its way overpriced. Ours was 1600. After the blowup we went with a bigger popup tent that actually covers more area than the blowup did and it cost 450. way cheaper and you dont have to worry about the blower overheating at any moment.

$2100 to cover 400 square feet?
That will get you 4,200 square feet of coverage with the $50 ezup tents from academy.

Last season the guys next to us had a huge inflatable lsu tent. One of the guys is involved with Goodwood hardware. He said it sells for like $3500. It was a really nice tent but, that's a lot of beer money just to save a little work.

I've heard the same story with his blowers. We already looked into just getting one from the local jump toy store for much cheaper and those things run all damn day for years.
I wonder how the material stretched? It's not like those things see a ton of stress. They just stand straight up.

Plus it ends up taking just as long once doesnt keep all the air in. you have to have someone holding up each leg while it slowly inflates. you'll love it year 1 though.

Link? We are just looking to go from 6 tents to 1 tent but don't want one of those pipe tents that take 20 people to put up/tear down

yeah we got a more heavy duty blower and that fixed the overheating issue. but it still wouldnt keep it inflated and it was twice as strong as the one that comes with it.
Posted on 11/19/12 at 9:43 am to Adam4LSU
its a pipe tent. it takes maybe fifteen minutes. its really a lot easier than you think. it is large enough though that you need at least 3 people to pick it up to put the legs in because its heavy.

Where do yall setup at? The tailgate on the side of us had an inflatable and just went to a pipe tent
Posted on 11/19/12 at 9:45 am to bbap
We labeled all the pipes so we knew which ones went where. If we're moving quickly/motivated to setup quickly it's done in 10 minutes with 3-4 people.

we're by the box but we got rid of the inflatable tent about 3 years ago. we were on the parade grounds at the time.
