One time I took a friend to and LSU game; it was his first time ever. We each got a bottle of bourbon; tucked it into our belts up front; and hid them with our shirts.

When we walked through the gates, a LSU Marshal stoped us right away and order us to lift our shirts. We both lifted our shirts; showed him the bourbon; and expected the worst.

The Marshal looked at us and said, "Ok, you can go on in."

We took a few steps into the stadium and I explained to my friend, "at LSU games, the Marshals make sure you have some alcohol before you are allowed in".

Bought some binoculars that were not really some... They were flasks on each side. Filled them up and closed the cap screw from the look in side and put them around my neck in full view. Always worked

Could not see with them though

Unopened LSU water bottle with a hole drilled in the bottom, drained, filled with rum or vodka, and then epoxy the hole.

There was alcohol in the student section?! I"M SHOCKED!

Flask wrapped in a maxi-pad in GF purse worked everytime.

Back in the day, there was no tailgating at LSU--wasn't banned, we just didn't do it except a few old timers only in the west parking lot.

Students (pledges) would sit outside the stadium to save seats for actives. This started at 10 am or so, until the gates opened at 530. You couldn't leave, so you'd drink a fifth of whatever and get 'faced with your date.

At game time you'd take your other fifth, covered completely inside a paper bag, and flash your student i.d. briefly at the guard as you entered the stadium in a mad rush with 10,000 other students. In the stadium you'd mix drinks openly from your fifth. After the game, if you glanced around the stadium, it looked like a dumpster from behind a liquor store had disgorged its contents everywhere--bottles, cups, ice, etc.

Perhaps this is why I don't have very many specific memories of games back then.

They dont pat down the ladies much at all anymore after an incident last season. However the power tripping state troopers will cover every sqaure inch of your body and degrade you like you are hiding something.

Works every single time no need to even hide it - unless they've changed the rules on bringing in tiger water since 2007.
