Only if you dont understand what facts are.
Miles had the most successful tenure in lsu history.
While saban left miles with talent it wasnt some top 5 program like people like to say. We had 1 top 5 finish in almost 2 decades.

Saban still didn't leave a top 5 program.

Miles did have the most successful tenure in lsu history.

Just facts. Sorry they don't fit your opinion.

you mean to tell me that Nick Saban didn't leave Les Miles with top 3 talent for at least his first 3 years?
Let the record (W/L) reflect Miles did more with all that talent than Saban.

Last 5 years of miles tenure in a very hard sec west- 15 losses 12 conf losses

Saban's tenure at lsu in a shite sec west =16 losses and 12 conf

Do you know that Saban's entire tenure at lsu he played zero sec programs that went on to even play in the title game?
During Saban's entire tenure only 2 other sec west teams ( not programs just teams) finished ranked in the top 10.
Miles last 5 years 6 west programs (some programs had multiple top 10 finishes) finished in the top 10.

Throughout Saban's entire tenure at lsu he played 3 sec west teams that finished with 10 wins.

why did the best coach of our generation lose 3 games in year 5 of his tenure?

saban mailed in that last game. everyone knows that.we shoulda had 10 wins if not 11 that year after the screwing in auburn. that was only a 11 game regular season.

he won the same amount of titles as les(2 seccg and a natty) in less than half the time. saban left miles loaded. it is not even debatable. move on. les is gone. he was mediocre since 2012. it's over man. move on jesus.

just the facts!!!!

Yeah because you could win sec west titles with 3 losses.

move on. les is gone.

Do you say this same thing to people that bring him and his tenure up to shite on lsu from 2005-2005-2015.
I didnt bring Les up. I actually NEVER bring Les up.

e. he was mediocre since 2012. it's over man

I wouldn't call 4 10 win seasons and r top 16 finishes as mediocre but hey its your opinion.

move on jesus.

Again brother, I NEVER BRING MILES UP.
I haven't started a thread about miles or been the 1st to bring him up in 2 years.

Are you under the impression that I think he was unjustly fired?

No they aren't because you pick and choose the facts you like and completely remove the context. You're ignoring the FACT that Saban inherited a spiraling dysfunctional 3-8 program, last in the SEC, and was in building mode for most of his time here. You're ignoring that Miles what's given a championship caliber program with all the pieces in place and was shooting upward. I don't know why defending Miles requires rewriting Saban's LSU legacy in your mind.

He also was coaching in a far far far worse sec west.
He played 2 other west teams that finished top 10.

I know Saban turned lsu around. I'm just saying that while he did leave Miles woth talent we werent this sure fire top 5 program.

Yes Saban left Miles with great talent but stop acting like it was a forgone conclusion that lsu would become a top 5 program. Dinard of also left saban some of the best players,at their position, to ever wear P&G.

quote:

Rewriting?
I'm stating facts.
Saban lost 3 games in year 5.
Saban lost at least 3 games every year but once.
Saban do coach in a sec west that was shite compared to the last 5 years under miles.

Its amazing that stating facts is deemed shitting on saban and deemed as defending miles.

Saban is by far the best coach to ever roam the lsu sideline.
Miles is the most successful.

But I digress. Its all opinion

We have been over this. Yes the sec west from 2011-2015 was far better than Saban's tenure at lsu.

SEC WEST TEAMS FINISHING TOP 10 DURING SABAN'S TENURE(besides lsu)

2004 auburn

SEC WEST TEAMS FINISHING TOP 10 FROM 2011-2015 ( besides lsu)
2011 Arky
2011 bama
2012 bama
2012 a&m
2013 auburn
2013 bama
2014 bama
2015 bama
2015 ole miss

Saban's tenure the west had 1 team finish in the top 10.
Last 5 years of miles' tenure had 9 teams finish in the top 10

10 WIN SEC WEST TEAMS DURING SABAN'S TENURE ( besides lsu)
2002 bama
2003 ole miss
2004 auburn

10 SEC WEST TEAMS DURING MILES' LAST 5 YEARS (besides lsu)
2011 bama
2011 arky
2012 bama
2012 a&m
2013 bama
2013 auburn
2014 bama
2014 miss st
2015 bama
2015 ole miss

So Saban's tenure had 3 10 win teams besides lsu.
Miles' last 5 years had 10 10 win teams
besides lsu.

Compared to the last 5 years of Miles' tenure the sec west was garbage during Saban's tenure.

I know we have and I showed you that they were less than 10% better as far as overall win pct. only 2% before Saban arrived in Bama. I know you hate Saban and his time at LSU but you can find other things to attack him for that are actually true because the SEC west being far better isn't. Was it better, yes barely though. Those 10 win seasons you're bragging about don't count as comparative because the seasons are longer now. I agree with most of what you're saying but you don't need to exaggerate to make your point.

That doesnt outweigh...
SEC WEST TEAMS FINISHING TOP 10 FROM 2011-2015 ( besides lsu)
2011 Arky
2011 bama
2012 bama
2012 a&m
2013 auburn
2013 bama
2014 bama
2015 bama
2015 ole miss

Saban's tenure the west had 1 team finish in the top 10.
Last 5 years of miles' tenure had 9 teams finish in the top 10

10 WIN SEC WEST TEAMS DURING SABAN'S TENURE ( besides lsu)
2002 bama
2003 ole miss
2004 auburn

10 SEC WEST TEAMS DURING MILES' LAST 5 YEARS (besides lsu)
2011 bama
2011 arky
2012 bama
2012 a&m
2013 bama
2013 auburn
2014 bama
2014 miss st
2015 bama
2015 ole miss

So Saban's tenure had 3 10 win teams besides lsu.
Miles' last 5 years had 10 10 win teams
besides lsu.

Saban coached against 1 west team thatfinished top 10.
Miles coached against 9 teams that finished top 10.

Overall win % isnt much higher because the league got harder. The last 5 years the west has been the most talent rich division in cfb.

Saban's tenure they werent close.
