How many hours was LSU on ESPN in the last two weeks?


I'd say it's a major sport that only gets slightly above average viewership.

What would you expect? The population centers don't get to have national power baseball programs since the weather is so cold. ESPN will only market the sports that the big cities will watch...basketball is played indoors, thus the northern schools can play year round and excel. Those same schools can't play baseball as long as we can because of the snow.

So baseball isnt a major sport just because it snows in the north?

It actually might be higher at LSU, just from seeing threads on here, but nationally, it's not even close.

Agreed, I might get bashed for this but back to back basketball titles and a recent BCS football title. That is outstanding.
