I also got a ticket for $201 in Florida. I was only going about 78 (I set my cruise just under 80). I was in the left lane, and this guy got right on my arse. I sped up so that I could get over for him (I went up to around 87). When I got over the guy on my arse pulled up next to me and flashed his lights on his undercover car and pulled me over. Then he tells me he wasnt going to pull me over until I hit 85.

yup, if you were going 84, it would have been around $75 I think. I should have asked to check his radar, he asked how fast I was going, I said I didn't know. He smirked and said I was going 85.

He didnt even radar me....he just got behind me and tried to match my speed.

How long did you sit there and track the license plate of every vehicle that was pulled over? I'm just wondering how you conclude that only Louisiana vehicles were stopped.

I think we got the same trooper. Did he put anything under comments about moving from the inside lane to the outside lane, and if so do you know what the hell he's talking about? I was in the left lane, he came up on me, I got in the right lane and pulled over (I used my blinker, so nothing there).

From when I got pulled over (past Lake City) until I was out of Florida, me and the other 3 people in the car just looked at the plates of the people pulled over on side of the road.

they don't need the radar in your situation, but he clocked me from the side of the road, I just never looked at the radar, could have saved me $25. Just got me, no other car. Was the other car with you from LA?
