It was what most remember the season for I suppose, so they put it on the side. id rather have that on the side than the final score of the blowout Delaware game.
Kinda embarrassing for Appy State. I can only assume your 2005 rings didn't have this on the side:
LSU 24
Appalachian 0

Our 11 on offense, plus our depth, has to be better than your 11 on defense and whatever depth you bring, straight up for four quarters. And vice versa. That's all that really matters and I don't think there is any legit debate that it won't be.
I agree, you SHOULD win.
you just sound like an echo of all the Meechigan fans on their boards pre September 1st 07.
Im just throwin it out there that we won't be the pushover your hoping for.

explain how putting the greatest upset of all time on a ring is embarrassing?
would putting a 0-24 on a ring be as bad as putting your kentucky or arkansas loss on your ring?

Undefeated in regulation.

And you sound like the Virginia Tech fans from the same time frame. Go to one of their boards and ask them how that road trip worked out for them.

I am very alarmed that our first opponent has both our offense and defense figured out and have made the necessary adjustment in May. Even the fans have got the whole thing figured out.
I guess the Appy State fans and coaches are just smarter and better than the SEC fans and coaches.
I am jealous as crap because I have no idea what offensive or defensive game plans our staff will come up with for the game.
I just have no idea how much of their talent the young linebackers, quarterbacks, or corners will display.
Everyone must be coming back for Appy State.

Kinda embarrassing you didn't put your "Championshiop game" score on the rings IMO.

No Divison 1A school would put a loss on their rings. Ok, maybe Ole Miss.
According to you, if LSU played the 2007 Season in 1996, our record would be 11-0-2 & undefeated heading into the National Championship game.

the stadium/time played means absolutely nothing.
These very same comments (by opposing teams) have resulted in some very spectacular blowouts. I for one hope this kind of inflammatory crap continues since it WILL motivate our Damn Strong football team....
Check with Va Tech, Arizona, Fresno St., etc. for more details.
Oh, and by the way, while on the subject of factual ignorance, our offensive and defensive lines may well be the best combined units we've had in decades. MOST will play on Sundays...

yes...but it wasn't 1996. how is that even relevant to anything?
and you lost twice, just like us.
who cares if you are undefeated in regulation.

This whole thread is retarded. They're not going to score on our defense, period. LOL @ comparing us to Michigan.
Want to put money on us not scoring my friend?
Michigan had a more feared Defense going into last year than you do this year. easily

LSU is light years ahead of Michigan.....ask Ohio State. The big house really isn't a big house.........it's actually smaller than Tiger Stadium, but more people in it because the freakin seats are 6 inches wide. The big house is nothing more than a mediocre morgue.
If you want to compare playing LSU in Death Vally to playing Michigan in Ann Arbor, then that by itself shows that you know nothing of what you are talking about.
Tiger Stadium will be at full force and so will the team. You will not be sneaking up on LSU like you did Michican't.

as our head coach put it to us before the Michigan game - "The only difference is, there's going to be more concrete."
Yeah ..............Right.............keep on thinking that.

I wish I had LSU figured out as well as you do and wish we had the talent of Appy St.
