Agreed. A 7-5/8-4 team is not a ranked team...

2000 National Champion Oklahoma Sooners
1999 Record: 8-5, lost to Ole Miss in Indy Bowl

2003 National Champion LSU Tigers
2002 Record: 8-5, lost to Texas in Indy Bowl

2010 National Champion Auburn Tigers
2009 Record: 8-5, beat Northwestern in the Outback Bowl

You were saying something about 8-5 teams not being Top 25 teams the next year?

6. Oklahoma State. Without Brandon Weeden and Justin Blackmon returning, ‘Pokes are a 7- or 8-win team.

You don't keep up with college football much, do you?

It's because they ARE returning. The writer is trying to intimate how valuable the QB/WR duo is to the overal fortunes of Okie State's Football Team.

they're not talking about last season. They're predicting them to 7/8 wins this year yet still have them #6

Blackmon & Wheeden are both returning.

Learn to read interwebs articles more goodly, or keep up with college fooseball more closely.

They are talking about what sort've impact those two players have in terms of how good Oklahoma State will be this year.

Without them, they are 7-8 win team.

WITH THEM, they are #6.

I like to start in the top 10 but #1 I don't know. I hope they are right! I'll take it.

This is flattering but I would much rather see them at 6, 7 or 8. It will go right to their teenage heads.

No, he's saying without those 2 players they would win 7 or 8. It would have been like someone looking at last year's Auburn team and saying, "They could win the national championship, but without Cameron Newton they're an eight win team,"

I don't think we will start 1 in the 2 official polls. Maybe 3 or 4. Annually over hyped Bama will be 1 in those polls although they lose their best player at QB, RB, WR, TE, and OL. This will be the case until the angry midget retires or hops a jet plane.

This. I would rather be celebrating this January of next year than September of this year.

And, of course, there goes the pic of Les clapping like Mama Klump.

"Hercules! Hercules! Hercules! Hercules!"

So a publication has us as #1, which is some nice publicity and you still throw out a dig at Miles. Thank you for continuing to add to the list of posters not to take serious.

I find it funny that les haters like yourself kept saying over and over that he will never beat saban/Meyer again, never win 10+ games and never get any respect from the media. How'd that turn out for you? If you hate the coach so much that you can't enjoy any success that the coach and team has then you really have no place in the fanbase.
