I’m sure he would prefer an experienced quarterback who is familiar with the playbook and can quickly grasp new concepts.
If we are playing with the same playbook what new concepts?

We should give him the Alabama game as an opportunity to improve.
No we shouldn't. We should give MVP a chance to see if he can save this offense/team after 8 games of terrible offensive production...not sure why you think a 5th yr senior qb with experience is all of a sudden going to change in his 9th game of his senior season....there is a higher chance MVB will improve from the little he has been able to show this year and last year.

Given that he is a coach's son, I believe he would understand the decision.
I am convinced this is Nussmeier's biggest problem. He usually wastes 1 timeout per half every game and it usually results in BK questioning and admonishing him for fdoing so and saying just run the f'n play. Last game Nuss kept talking back to Kelly for an entire minute after wasting another timeout in what the first or second series in 1st qtr. Nuss looks uncoachable...he also refuse to use his legs. He has had more than enough opportunity to improve. At least he made good money this yr bc his draft stock has be shite now

We can go back and forth all day on this topic. I know for a fact Nuss will start the Bama game. He may not finish but he's starting.

Respectfully, you do not.

I will bet you whatever in your pocket versus mines.

I’m not giving you my truck keys -_-
Nobody knows what we are going to walk out there off the bye. Maybe not even Frank yet
Maybe you’re right.
Maybe not.
I personally think we would be nuts to not try MVB after Sellers & USCe took them to the wire. You can’t just stand Nuss up back there and let them tee off, he can’t get it done right now / super obvious that oblique is giving him issues.

That doesn't make it the right decision. I can't justify needing to see NUSS to start another game...I can justify giving MVB an opportunity to show what he can do.

That’s a tough team to try and improve against don’t you think?

I’ll puke in my mouth a little if they trot nuss bust back out to start the bama game.

Bama has issues against dual threat QB's as do we. Nuss will not run when he has the opportunity. Fact is, the offense perked up when he scored on the last drive against aTm. He had more zip on the ball and made a nice throw. LSU will probably play both to keep Bama off balance. Nuss has had his chance. Give MVB a shot at least.
