I totally get where you're coming from! Starting the tournament on a Thursday sounds like a great idea. Giving the weekend rotation arms at least 5 days of rest between starts is definitely important to prevent injuries. It's always better to prioritize player safety and avoid quick turnarounds after weekend series.
