Y A..... you must not have read the entire thread

LSU is my school, i love everything about the school, not just the football... i was born and raised about an hour from Tiger Stadium. I grew up going to Tiger Stadium. It was unfortunate that we moved away but thats just the way the cookie crumbles. i miss MAYBE 2 home games a year and drive to as many away games as i can.... LSU is MY SCHOOL

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

In my book "your school" is where you GO TO SCHOOL.

standing right in front of the door was derek peguese (with his arm in a sling, i assume it was from that boom that was lowered on him on that kickoff ) as soon as i stepped out he was like "look at this motha fuka wearin ALL his LSU shite" i just laughed and shrugged it off and made my way to my bike. i didnt notice but there was about 15 players standing with peguese and they all started in on me! "frick you fig; dumbass couldnt get into LSU; imma steal yo bike"

Ouch... bikes are an excellent mode of low cost transportation, but hopping on a bike to peddle away after that altercation with the football team probably didn't help your cause... but hey, glad to see you are sporting the purple and gold.

the only really bad part IMO is wearing the LSU gear the first day of classes following MSU's loss to them. especially when you have class with players and know that you'll see them. to me that is just an a-hole move. i wore LSU stuff occasionally around campus at Tulane but i never would have pulled that

yeah, cause you're a pus

I posted this in the SEC rant yd. Does not really apply totally to this situation, but I am curious to hear what people think.

What percentage of an SEC teams fans base is composed of actual alumni of that school??

I ask because here in middle Tennessee I run into UT, AU, and Bama fans who have obviously never set foot at an institute of higher learning.

Not bashing these schools or trying to say these fans are inferior, as I saw universal support for LSU growing up in rural Louisiana.

? Does going to a particular school make you a bigger fan than the average joe? Most of the biggest LSU fanatics that I knew growing up did not go to LSU.

What say you??

haha i thought about that too. but its not like a bmx or trick bike, its a nice Gary Fisher mountain/trail bike.
and i didnt just hop on and pedal away really quick, there were a bunch of people in my way so i had to take my time! i like the way you think though, im suprised noone picked that up earlier

I was thinking the same thing. Just keep walking dude. Grab a bite at the union or something and go back later. Don't roll off on your beach cruiser. 20 bucks says next time you walk out of that class your tire is chained to the rack and nothing else.

There was no need to expound on that since I work around the ULL campus and its easier to get around on a bike for some students. Also some can't afford cars or don't find it's needed since many stores are close to campus.

Personally I think you and your story are full of shite. I'm willing to bet they didnt' give two shits about you wearing purple and gold and you came here to post to appear cool on the interweb.

I agree with Y.A. Tittle. I grew up in an LSU household but went to State and finished there. I became a fan of the school when I was there and even more when I finished. I would still pull for LSU but not over State. of course it helped when we had decent teams in all 3 sports when i was there.

He wore it at the university in which LSU played Saturday and walked in front of a bunch of players.
