So, folks on here who were clamoring for him to be our OC back then were wrong? How could that be?
Who is the perfect guy to come in here and revolutionize our offense that will put up 40 points/game?

You think his job is to develop players for NFL combines? That is how you judge strength and conditioning coaches? Your posts suggests that is the case.

no need to "revolutionize"; Hell Morris Watts ran a more productive offense. i could name about 50 guys that i would rather off of the top of my head but i won't waste my time. you are obviously either a crowton fan and are entitled to your opinion.

He had 2 offenses that averaged below 30 points/game and 2 that averaged 30 or more points/game. Same with Crowton thus far.

I'm not a "Crowton" fan. I'm an LSU fan. I'm just so flabbergasted how all of the experts on the Rant could be so wrong.

No you're not.

Everyone was wrong on Crowton, including Les Miles. Skip Bertman was wrong when he selected Smoke Laval. Joe Dean was wrong for picking Curley Hallman. Picking coaches is not an exact science. The successful head coaches recognize their mistakes early on and fix them quickly. Les exhibited this with the co-DC experiment. He needs to do this on the offensive side too, before it is too late.

You're not interested in seeing what Crowton can do with another QB?
But, I didn't think y'all could be wrong, y'all are the experts. Y'all know more than people who have been coaching for decades.

easier to hate on coaches than players.
Ive said all along there is going to be alot of crawfishing on this board from the "experts" if ZM live up to expectations.

We know that a ranking of 110/120 does not cut the mustard.
BTW, I am okay with sticking with Crowton this season, but he better have a SEC winning offense next year for him to stay, no excuses.

i am not an expert. all of the so-called recruting "experts" say that we are one of the most talented teams in the country based on their expert recruiting analysis. If Crowton cannot produce with that talent, I guess the blame lies either with the recruiting experts or the posters on the Tiger Rant.

I hope so.

Rankings don't mean shite, because they are relative to what other teams do.

I think if we average below 30 points/game next year he deserves the hook. Hope Chavis has his stop unit ready.

our offense is fricking up our defense. defense is on the field too much. with an average offense, our defense would be that much better.

I think QB is the main issue offensively. If we can get another QB like Mettenberger, hopefully the coaches can gain some confidence and this offense will move. If we have another year like this year offensively, I'll be more than happy if Les tells him to look for a new employer.

Wow.
If you believe that how about this, winning a game doesn't mean shite, because it is relative to what the other team does.
How about winning the gold medal is bullshite, cause it is relative to your competition.

the other thing is that Crowton cannot identify QB talent for shite. We got Mettenberger b/c of shitty qb talent analysis. He sees the opportunity to come in and start at a big time program. I am always going to pull for the tigers, but we are way too talented for what is being produced.

I'm talking about categories like scoring offense and scoring defense. Just because you rank low doesn't mean you have a bad offense or defense. For instance, you can still average 35 points/game offensively and rank low if every other team does better than you. 35 points/game is good. Now, that's not likely to happen but posting rankings regarding our total offense doesn't tell us anything about how many points/game we average offensively, which is important. Maybe not to you, but it is to me. You appear to care more about yards than points based on that.
