There's your top 5 --- IMO, talent is all top notch... UGA and Bama have a QB advantage this year -- LSU and S. Carolina might next year (on paper) - UF will be in the mix too.
10-2 vs. our competition is good .... getting to 12-0 or 11-1 takes getting some breaks --- some years they fall your way, some they don't.

When you have the program and players we have, we should expect more. We keep losing because of the same issues that do not get corrected year in and year out. I dont believe in "good enough".

Who exactly gets credit for the program and players? Don't tell me the program recruits itself. We went 15 years sucking.
We are 35-5 the last three seasons. What are the recurring issues you talk of that caused us to go 35-5?

I support the players not les. Don't think he could have done anything on 1-9-12, but we should have beat Bama in ts but he made dumb calls. We should be playing for the sec not Bama. Best we can hope is 10-2 and to do better we will need some breaks.

Agree 100%. Last year we were supposed to be rebuilding and we slammed everyone we played except Bama although we beat them. That was with a horrific schedule.
This year our schedule was still tougher than Bama's but they did to everyone else what we did last year; LSU and TAMU being the exceptions.
Bama got a once in a lifetime extra chance last year that no one will ever get again. We lost two games by a combined 12 points to top 5 teams and we want to complain?
Sure I would have preferred wins in both of those but the breaks just didn't go our way this year and we didn't always play like we deserved it.
At the end of the day this is about the GAME of football and is not life or death. LSU is a top 5 program, has been for several years and will continue to be.
FYI Bama hasn't won anything yet, not even the SEC championship. Don't crown them yet.

Come on man. I am disappointed too, but 5 losses in 3 years. Two of them this year by a total of 12 pts. You just aren't being realistic or fair. Bama has caught severe breaks the last two years or the script is totally flipped. They are 1 ft on a Fg fron ok st from no title game last year and we win the crystal. Don't have to address the breaks this year. They have been extremely fortunate.

You won't hear many complaints from those of us that were paying attention 15 years ago, although everyone should be frustrated with avoidable mistakes.
