Big Game Bob has won 80 percent of his games and 6 conference titles in 11 seasons
In a weak conference. How many Bowl games?...with really good talent? The year they won a NC was with Blake’s talent against a Fla St. team with a bunch of suspended players. Fla St. dropped at least 3 TD passes and OU won what 12-9. They play one hard game a year, RRSO and then fold it up in Dec.

Well, outside of the SEC, what do you consider a strong conference? The Big 12 is probably second to the SEC.
He's won 5 bowl games but 3 of those games(USC,LSU,UF) I never expected him to win.
What do you think his winning percentage should be?
I know how you're looking at this. You're saying all of his accomplishments aren't impressive because of the conference. That, in order to be a good coach or be impressive, he has to win at a far higher rate because of the strength(or lack thereof) of the conference OU is in.
Forget all of those questions, the real question should be, considering all things(including his staff turnover), has he made OU the best program it can be? I say he has pretty done that. Winning 80 percent of your games over 11 seasons and winning 6 conference titles is significant.
Nonetheless, he's getting paid big at OU and he ain't coming here.

please god no more recycled, old s.e.c. coaches. at least get a new model with low miles like dan mullen. no nutt, petrino, spurrier. there's too many choices that would excite the fan base. whittingham, muschamp, peterson, patterson, ferentz, smart, pelini, sumlin, on so on.
