Cheering when throwing it away was b/c it was a good decision unlike what he displayed in the first half...which brought the rounds of boos.

I can't stand to see one of our players ever get booed on our home field. This should not happen.

Lee handles it well. I admire him for that. Say what you want but the kid keeps firing inspite of everything.

It was also the students who were chanting "Jarrett Lee" in the 2nd half when he was playing well.

I'm a student...I HATE the booing of JL. It does nothing but hurt our team. I will never boo my team or my school. But on the other side... are our players total pussies that they can't handle people THEIR AGE dissing them? While I think its totally insane for a grown man booing these guys, its less of a big deal for the students to do it IMO. But again, I am VERY much against any booing at all! Its horrible!

Im sure this has been posted already, but the students booed when Lee was announced the starter pregame and they also booed when he threw a pass away. This booing Jarret really disappointed me.

i wish but most who boo him prob didn't see the 2nd half or his performance. its a shame but you can generalize that the people that boo also leave early and bitch about everything. its the nega tiger code.

Yeah thankfully all the assholes behind me who were booing him and saying nasty things about him left during the second quarter so I didn't have to listen to their bitching. By the way, I never heard anyone doing any Jarret Lee chants in the student section. More or less it was that whole Angels in the Outfield thing, which the entire stadium was doing.

No, they were cheering "Jarrett Lee" during and after the game, it just wasn't many people doing it.

lol, the student section actually makes some noise during the games. Without the student section, tiger stadium would die. You can't abolish the students that make up the university and are the reason LSU takes the field on Saturdays
