I was talking about ranking them #1 most of the season in the polls.
The RPI is hard to figure. They play mostly other ACC teams, which are mostly crap.

It's got to be like the Big 10 football always gets a boost from playing the MAC, which always has a good RPI. But the SEC schools play the same mid week teams, so I don't understand how the RPI always favors the ACC.

The ACC plays more road games and face decent mid-majors in VA and NC who help give them the edge.
