Anyone find it funny that he's terribly inacurate with his passes but the kick was dead on?

we have all done plenty of things we wish we would not have done but you have to be responsible enough to say I put myself in a bad situation so now I have to live with the consequences. Its taking ownership of what I do no one made me do the things I have done and no one is responsible for me but me....

But they did have a choice as to where they went. Being at a bar at closing time with belligerent drunks is not a good choice. Like several of you have said on here, bar fights a very common. Having someone attack your wife at dinner isn't.

Is he denying it? Did he say I wasn't there or it was a mistake to be there? I haven't heard that.

I don't think any person who has any common sense really cares that they were out breaking curfew. I know I don't and alot of people I talk to done either. It's done all the time. But to do that and put yourself in a situation where you get in legal trouble are two different things.

Rather he did anything or not he was there, and he did make the choice to go out so yes he brought all this on himself

That post shows your stupidity. This was a tradition by the team to skip curfew on the last night of camp. The TEAM made a decision to break curfew and since it's a long standing tradition you would expect nothing less for JJ to be with the team and follow tradition. Just becuase he was out there doesn't mean he brought all of this on himself. He's been out hundreds of times and nothing like this has ever happened before.

The kid is going into his senior year at our school, and either a severe lapse of judgment, or being at the wrong place at the wrong time has cost him dearly, strictly becuase he IS the qb at our school.

Had he been Jordan Jefferson, the senior business administration major, and not Jordan Jefferson, the LSU starting qb, this shitstorm would not have been brought on him to bear.

It would have just been a barfight. Like him or not (as a qb), he's practiced, suited up, and taken hits for 3 years in exchange for an education. The byproduct of that is our collective enjoyment of his abilities roughly 12-14 times a year.

self imposed. he gets what he deserves. maybe next time, he wont be a dumbass tough guy and walk away.

Fair enough, but you also can't be afraid to live your life either. If they are all of age and its a weekend they do have a right to be in a bar, though it might not be the ideal place, but that goes for anyone.

I'm sure they and other football players go to the bars all the time and never had a problem. No reason to think and I say think this would happen.

Your anology does not have anything to do with JJ's situation.

Yes he has the right to do what ever he wants but he has the responsiblity to deal with the consequesnces of his actions. He broke curfew rather it was sanctioned or not. He at a minimum was at a location where shite was going down at first sign he should have thought I better get myself and my teammates out of this situation. Im not saying he touched anyone but he made his decisions so he will have to live with the consequeces that come from those poor decisions.

You're right. But when it did happen, the smart thing would've been to walk away from it. Who cares what some drunk a-hole has to yell at you from the safe confines of his truck (or so he thought).
