Yep. My ranking was better before I made my TAF ticket donation. My donation is $400.00 and I get 3.4 points. Lost 300 points. What's really strange, though, is my ranking is 2 points better now than at March 31 and I haven't given any more money. Figure that. I was going to give more and try to better my ranking but why bother?

Now that they award everybody points for just buying ticket I don't think it is economically fesible for me to donate anymore.

True. But that's not why I donate. I like to think that we play a very small part, (tiny) in contributing to the continued success of LSU. But, I'm wrong alot.
The deduction doesn't hurt, either.

You could get a 100% deduction giving it to your church instead of 80% giving it to TAF.

I moved up 2312 spots...but had to donate $3100. If that doesn't get me post-season tickets, I'm done with the extra donations for good.

i did not give my 100.00 donation (yet) and dropped 1000 from 3200 to 4200

FWIW, this won't fix the issue. There are still plenty of Ohio State fans/grads who can't get season tickets.
