On a serious note though. The greatest beauty/travesty of college football is at the end of the season everything is left up to your imagination. You cannot compare pac 10 to sec legitamatly looking at a few matchups between uneven teams. You can't compare UF or LSU to USC b/c they have not played head to head. Everything we debate is imaginary and just a possible scenario of what could happen. Nothing in college football is ever settled on a feild. It sucks because no questions get answered at the end of the year, but its cool because we can all keep our egos and self pride.

someone winning their 1st title wouldn't make them the team of the decade. lsu, florida, texas, and usc would still be better than osu or oklahoma if they won the title.

Uh, yeah, Oklahoma won in '00 and OSU won in '02. And just so you know, it's better to get to the BCSCG and lose than to win the Peach Bowl. So if either of them win, they would have 2 balls as well. And their runner-ups would be better than our Peach Bowl victories.

That was '04, but I still think USC and Oklahoma were more deserving that year. That USC team was probably one of the top 5 CFB teams of all time.

Hey toes who blows, or whatever, play the likes of Georgia, Alabama, Florida,and LSU year in and out home and away, and then again in a Championship game, and then try talking about it.When your conference has 2 different teams with 2 National titles in the last 6 years, and another back in 98 (Tennessee), and again Florida in 96 or 97, and then Bama back in 93, well shite, you try winning 34 games ina row, or 7 consecutive conference titles, or any other ridiculous things like that. And that's not even counting an Auburn who was undefeted in 04. Point is, many more National Title type teams in this conference year in and out, and no way you can refute that point and that it makes playing in this conference a bitch, and you damn sure EARN your Titles
