The flaw in your analogy is that LSU's "husband" doesn't cheat, beat, and disrespect "her". He loves her, and tries to do everything right by her. He just makes mistakes, and has a funny way of doing things.
If you think LM's intention is to ruin LSU, then you don't really pay attention.
After reading my post, your analogy isn't flawed, it's flat out wrong.

So now Les Miles is like a "rotten" husband? 
I'd say that some- OBVIOUSLY NOT ALL- LSU fans are more like a rotten wife who's only concern is how much money their "rotten" husband hands them every week. The rest of the week while he's off trying to make them more money, they sit on their ever-widening asses at their mother's house- or with their friends- drinking, smoking, and talking about how he just doesn't do it for them anymore....
