under your definition of elite, only saban led alabama qualifies. LSU is almost as good as bama and most definately as good OR BETTER than any program in the country. usc, oregon, tejas, fsu, ohio state, oklahoma, florida, georgia, clemson, virginia tech, miami, etc, etc, etc. you cannot name a program that is better than LSU. yes, i would say alabama is better than LSU right now due to saban. LSU is the only damn team that stands in their way most years. but even saban isn't a machine; programs at the top don't stay there every year. complacency sets in with the players and fans at some point. at LSU, saban got complacent after his NC but for whatever reason he is still hungry at bama.

If lsu isnt elite then who is. Please how many teams have2 bcs titles? You do know that lsu has to play the only other teans that have 2 every fricking year.
Last season we played 4 bcs champions. Not one school in the country can claim that.
