if you honestly think this my friend you are the homer! everyone has said since day one he just doesn't have a strong enough arm!

JL's arm isn't nearly as strong as JJ's and his passing isn't nearly as accurate either.

ive been at all games this year and watched the replays as well. i never said anything about being rushed or anything else. you go back and watch those two games and tell me how many times he throws down field. big play against unc and at most 4 times against msu...thats it. either you dont go to games to see the open options he never looks for down field or you dont know what you are watching.
also i never said he was running for his life go back and read again. i said that will not save him from having to throw it down the field forever. not even close to the same thing.
i have 2 questions for you and im done please be honest and answer both:

1. Please tell us in what areas you see he has improved. Give me more than 1 or 2 reason because you said he is much improved.

2. do you in all honesty think he has the confidence to throw the ball over the middle or down the field 3 maybe 4 times a drive if it is needed?

Both QB's have adequate arms and can make the throws necessary. Both are reasonably accurate as well. One has issues with throwing into coverage, the other is terrified to throw near coverage.

Haven't read all these pages just want to throw my rant in here. If JJ is the best we can put on the field then JL won't play where ever he transfers, if we are to trust that Coach Miles knows what he's doing. JJ wouldn't be the backup for most of the SEC schools.

You must have been smoking crack when you watched the Alabama game

I might have been smoking crack, but I did see the game. But you must have had your face inside somebody's crack and couldn't see the Bama game if you thought that performance was worse than La Tech.

Seriously though, like I said, he wasn't good and got worse as the game went on. But at least that was an awesome D and he wasn't expecting to have to play that big of a role. He came in on a series where JJ had just got sacked and injured (and was called for intentional grounding). So it was 2nd and forever. He eventually completed a 20-yard pass. Then they went on 4th down and he hit a 17-yard pass to get us inside Bama's red zone. They called it back for a false start or some BS. That's wasn't JL's fault. He had gotten us into easy FG range (at least) if not for that penalty. So when he first came in it was a seriously tough situation and he did about as good as you can in that situation.

The following drive he only had one pass and he did complete it. We ran over and over and scored.

After that, we ran for a series and got stuffed. And after that series is when it went downhill for him. But he did okay in the beginning.

Against La. Tech, he knew he would start for a week against an overall weak team. Yet, the performance was awful. Yes, Tech guys had balls thrown right in their hands in that game and missed it. The only reason we had a passing TD is because Lafell caught a short pass in the beginning and made some really nice moves and took it for another 30+ yards. Other than that, passes were going 15 yards out of bounds, he had a grounding call, one pass that was so high that the announcers were almost speechless... There is no comparison. Tech is a team that you're supposed to put up decent #s on, not Bama. Say what you want, but he was more accurate in the Bama game and even the numbers say so no matter if they both aren't very good.

I posted a couple weeks ago that you might be the most annoying poster on this board.
Let me fix it.. you are by far the absolute most annoying hack on this website.

You spit the same garbage fricking post over and over and over.
Its old. Your little song and dance is noted. Everybody knows you hate JL and if you could keep JJ's dick from dangling in your face for just a second you might see it too.

He Could transfer to MC NEESE. They will be needing QB after the LSU Game when Nevis and the boys get through playing with them.

When you don't throw the ball beyond 10 yards, it's not tough being accurate.

6 yards per attempt will not cut it.

I was somewhat surprised Lee returned. If he truly puts in the work & shows improvement, but JJ gets no better, he deserves a chance for at least a series or two per game.
