How do you not get the sarcasm and irony?
His point is that it is ridiculous to gripe about every little meaningless statistic.
It's not important to lead the nation in offense or defense, in passer efficiency on 3rd down in opposing stadiums on field turf or what the heck ever.
What is important is Ws, as our buddy Herm would say "you play to win the game!"
We do that MOST of the time.
