I think LSU needs to solve Peterson's cramping problems before giving him anymore plays. I think he would do really well on O but if he's cramping in the time he plays now what happens when he's playing all 3 phases?

Remember Chicken, les said last night the wildcat with Shepard doesnt work because there is no threat of pass

Check this out then, some nice CGI/Special effects going on here. I wish I knew how they made this look real.

Chicken, PP is 220 lbs. Shepard is about 185 if that. I would rather have shepard running the jet motion with PP lined up at qb

If we are going to run it I would like to see us run it with PP7 and Shep like Arky ran with McFadden and Jones. You have lighting quick speed guys threatening the perimeter on both ends, or if open up the middle.

I think my preference would be to see Shep taking the snap, or them interchangable there.

no we're not. If we were, we'd have tried some shite by now to get it ready for UF and Bama.

the worst part is jj isn't a threat to pass either. our threat to pass the ball is lee.

rolling out to make throws every time will not work in the sec bama and uf will eat our shite up if we cut out half the field

We would definitely be getting Peterson more visibility for the Heisman, but to say he could run it more effectively than Shepard would be a stretch. Now Peterson and Shepard in the backfield together =

Maybe the cramps are his body telling him he needs the ball In his hands?

Jefferson is our best passing option right now, followed by (or maybe exceed by) Lee.

Jefferson has the ability to make good passes, so that cannot be discounted. He is just struggling right now.

I agree. But he's not a good enough athlete to be a legit threat to run in the wildcat

I think the wildcat would make the most sense by putting either Ridley or RS taking the snap and then RS, Murphy, or RR as the motion guy.

A caller on the Les Miles show last night ask about when will he take advantage of placing RS in the Wildcat and he gave some bullshite answer like...In order for a wildcat formation to work, the individual lined up as the Wildcat QB first has to demonstrate that he has the ability to throw the ball out of that formation. He went on to say defenses will key-in solely on the run b/c the threat of the pass will not be evident.

i disagree. lee has the better arm bt him and jj and lees accuracy is probably better esp right now considering how bad jj has been the last 3 games.

JJ has been all over the field in the vandy, state and wvu games and the only real threat on o has been a roll out pass but that cuts down half the field.

imo with our situation at qb we need to go with the hot hand. Lee can be successful. He was put in a bad situation in 08 and last year. this year all he has to do is manage the game. in 08 with our horrible d he was asked to win games this year he just has to get the ball to a better core of wrs make some first downs and maybe a td or so a game.

mcfadden and felix ran the hell out of the wildcat and neither was a good passer, although they did pass successfully a few times.

Jefferson has no touch on his balls. Sure he can throw it hard enough but he doesn't go through his progressions or deliver as catchable a ball as Lee. IMO.

oh no doubt we will. les is to stubborn to change and it will cost us the bama and uf games and we will be lucky if it doesn't cost us some other game.

its a shame bc our d is good enough to win a national title but they can't really afford any slip up bc of how bad our o is.

Didnt Peterson play as the QB while in HS? Or was he just a WR?

Oh and...
