Ponder was already developed when he got there. Manuel was overrated. Winston was by far and away his only good QB. Just look at what they have now.

The ACC is trash. Look at who they beat in the championship game those years. I think it was Duke twice and Gtech the other.

I think 46-7 (33-3) and 4 BCS bowls is doing something.

What in that was wrong

Everything.

Jimbo Fisher had one good year at Florida State and since and before then they were average at best.

Wrong and it tells me you haven't watched any college football since 2010.

Chip Kelly didn't do anything at Oregon.

Laughable....again speaks to the small amount of NCAA football you have watched....or the fact that you are just lying for some odd reason.

Scott Frost, have you seen our defense? Imagine it if he was our coach.

WTF does Scott Frost have to do with defense

Fisher's record in the ACC looks something like this:

10-4
9-4
12-2
14-0
13-1
9-2 (current)

And there is this:

@TomahawkNation Jimbo Fisher w/ major Freudian slip: called Treon Harris "Brandon" Harris. Think he's been studying #LSU roster? #FSU #Noles

And the guy you are running out of town is 110-33 with 4 BCS appearances.

Do you realize how hard it is to recruit at Oregon? Even with all of those bells and whistles. He did great for what he had.

And, we're done here.

I'm personally not sold on Jimbo or Chip Kelly. I mean, the only thing I can say good about Jimbo is just about everything on his philosophy fits perfectly with LSU. He also knows our system here and he already proven he can beat Saban on the biggest stage. I wouldn't be upset with the hire but I'd need him to prove he can handle an SEC schedule. He has all the other criteria we want. Scheme, QB development, amazing recruiter, understands LSU's system, etc.

Chip Kelly is about a complete polar opposite on what LSU is looking for and I honestly don't think he even considers coming here. His scheme, ego and philosophy just don't make sense. I don't think he can come in and immediately rake 60 points up consistently either. That type of offensive system in Oregon took years to implement and will need the same time at LSU fans will not be willing to give. Jimbo can come in immediately and push his scheme straight to the players, IMO.
