Again the ability to interpret information fails you. I never ever said 8 wins...........I did say he would make them more competive than Carroll and I have been proven correct. Do your search counselor.

That team had major depth issues. They weren't as talented as some of the teams they played. But they believed in their coach and respected him. And they did not quit.

A bowl and 8 wins are a bit ways off and you can't say that Lee made MSU worse off than before he arrived..........wait.........I'm talking to Jacob so yes he can.

I won't forget to neglect though that you had West Virgina in the national title game if you want too compare previous history oh wise one.

2006 is the most talented LSU team in history

Oh, it's a good debate. I just think 2005 was superior, and you have to shake off the fog of the hurricane to really make an unbiased assessment.

But no doubt, 2005-2006 were the most talented teams in LSU history (especially in the passing game), and 2-loss Les fluked his arse off getting to the BCSCG last season, and that's really just the tip of the icebrg when it comes to talent overriding his stupid decisions.

L S Usetheforce...

Sorry to interrupt your momentum here, but Gerry Dinardo was still our coach in January 1999. Saban wasn't hired until December 1999.

You also have too look at competition.

In 2005 you had undefeated Texas and USC to contend with. First you have to get to the game which we probably would have if undefeated(but would be 2003 over again) then you have to beat one of them.

In 2006 if you get past Florida all you had was an over-rated OSU.

Reed made your group above look like a joke......that's a story for another topic.

Help you out how??? Look it up on Wikipedia. Dinardo's last season was 1999. Saban was hired at the end of the 1999 season. His first year as LSU head coach was 2000.

Reed was so huge because he got all the looks.

One first round WR in the 2001 group, were Myers and Robinson even drafted?

Two first round and one third in 2005/6 group.
