Um...,

Evil Twin gets up and talks about a war of the past and its effect on some random nation for 2 minutes. then says he has a question. audience members giggle like the douche bags they are. then ET ask a decent but once again non-confrontational question

The problem with that is that they screen the calls.

Common myth that is perpetuated. They DO NOT screen calls.

Again, they DO NOT screen calls. People that claim this have obviously never called in before. And FWIW, the show (and LSU football) are obviously entertaining, or people wouldn't listen. It's pretty much as simple as that.

Most people are just internet bad-asses and don't have the balls to call in and ask Miles the questions they want answered. And it's a stupid argument to say "he won't answer it, he'll avoid it." Actually, the facts suggest that statement is wrong. Miles rarely avoids questions from fans. He may not give you the answer you wanted, but he most certainly doesn't avoid questions. Anyone that listens to the show on a regular basis knows this to be true.

Maybe someone will sneak in a call and ask "how was Harvey Williams after he was hit in the pussy."

A gold star for anyone who remembers that memorable show many years ago.

They do screen calls. They ask you what you are going to ask the coach. You ever notice that the same questions get asked each week in a slightly different way? Big coincidence to me.

they screen audience questions, so I'm sure they screen the calls.

I know first-hand that in fact they do not screen calls.

oh, well as long as you know "first hand" I guess we'll just ignore all logic and believe you.

I don't care what you believe or not ... they don't screen calls.

Because I've called twice this season already, and not once has my call been screened. Actually, I've called three times, but on one show they never got to me on the air.

I called three times last year, and not once was my call screened.

so they screen the questions of people in the audience, but not the questions of random people calling in from Eunice.

Right.

So, what meatball questions did you ask Miles?

Does he meddle in the offense and why don't we see the fire on the sideline from him that we saw in 2007...?

Earlier in the season (week after the Vandy game I believe) I asked him to talk about why we're not stretching the field vertically as well as Jefferson's progression in being able to stretch the field vertically.

Doesn't matter what you ask Miles, you get the canned response. Like Saban's was "the process".....Les Speak would be an epic study in psychology

I thought he was going to say he was the producer, or the the "call taker"...

Sweet, that means I'll be able to call and grill Miles with a real question

Go get him. I'm sure you'll ask him a question that the Miles himself or the media have never thought of ...

I probably will. I'm clearly far more intelligent than Miles or the local media.
