Oklahoma State beat the teams they had to beat to win their conference (one of the top two with the SEC) and finished with the same record against Alabama after playing a more difficult schedule. That doesn't even take into account a loss on the road on the day of a school tragedy.

By the way, Alabama played a garbage schedule where their only really impressive win is Arkansas at home. But I'm just throwing that part in there to pile on at this point.

There's no way you actually believe the garbage you put out. Alabama's loss was a playoff loss but Oklahoma's State's loss wasn't? How convenient.

Also, that s### schedule included an SEC schedule IDENTICAL to LSU's. They both played ALL the same teams (other than themselves obviously) while Bama and LSU played Vandy>>>Kentucky respectively. Penn State>West Virginia...LSU actually played no better a schedule than Alabama did in 2009 and only had a better schedule this year because of the Oregon game and the fact that Alabama was on the road.

Finebaum not taking LSU callers because he knows he can't defend the Gumps being in the NC game. Before Jan. 9, someone will postulate that actually the officials put the points on the wrong side of the scoreboard and the Gumps actually won!!!!! And Finebaum will agree with them! Tiger Rant needs to not allow any Gump participation on the rant until after Jan. 9.

I fully know that LSU and Alabama are the two best teams. But they have played. Alabama gets a pass to the national title game despite losing at home because they win the eye test. People like Danielson say the same thing: You invalidate regular season games like Nov 5th by having a rematch. The caller was right: LSU earned the right to play one more champion from the only league that could make an argument against them at this point.

LSU already won the SEC. And this is not basketball or golf (ridiculous Finebaum analogy). But congrats to Alabama for beating FCS Ga. Southern and Auburn after their loss to LSU because that was enough for them to "earn" a rematch.

You can't believe the shite that comes out of your mouth. Bama 2009 played the powerhouses of FIU, North Texas, and Tennessee-Chattanoga. They played no top ten ranked team on the road, outside of the neutral site games(SECCG and BCSCG and Chik-fila all neutral site). One ranked team on the road. They only played four top ten ranked teams, and six top 25, and one conference champion.

And they didn't have to play the top 5 four times in one season.

Explain to me now, how the schedules compare?

The problem is Okie State only held 3 teams under 20 points. Also they gave up 34 to ULL, 33 to Tulsa, and 37 to Iowa St. I mean come on, Bama allowed one team to score more than 20 and that was Ga Southern after the LSU game. You know Bama is the better team

I listen to the show whenever I think he will implode (LSU winning, RGIII Heisman, OTL) and I always hear Tammy.

Damn I'd love to hear what she has to say but I cannot understand a word because she screams. He needs closed captioning on his web page.

He use to have twitter feed on the right panel of his web page and that was hilarious. It doesn't work any more or he has me blocked, not sure which. I would too if my nemis was @finebaumsucks.

Greatest line today

"Pawl, The only people whining about Alabama being in the National Championship game are the people outside the state of Alabama,"

Pawl just let one roll....

It was stated like some kind of profound argument, only it underscored the obvious biased coming from the state of Alabama
