I only sit on commercial timeouts, and nap at half. Otherwise I stand the entire game.

Stay away from the North endzone.

The students are the only ones who consistently stand the whole game.

The rest of the stadium is pretty good about people saving the standing for big moments.

Standing the whole game honestly sucks outside of the student section. You can yell just as much sitting down.

This! I sit at all times except for when I jump up after a big play

I have this guy directly in front of me at the Superdome who stands in the middle of the play.
When Drew Brees puts the ball in the air...he stands and blocks the play. When the defense goes for an interception...he stands. $6000 for two club seats season tickets and we miss the biggest plays of the game. Nice guy....bad habit.
Finally about 5 of us got on his arse at the same time and he got the message.

I hate to sit down during the game. I can do that on the couch at my house

I actually stand up at home during the intense moments. My wife thinks I am crazy, but it must be nerves.

I've probably been guilty of this. Jumping up in anticipation of the big play. This isn't on purpose, but I do feel bad if no one else is jumping up around me.

This isn't the OT. Keep this crap to yourself.

Bet you don't stand in front of your wife at home during the game.

She stands with me, as do the other 5-6 people watching the game with me.

Thanks for all the feedback. Actually my back would be a mess if I sat for extended periods of time on a bench without a seat back for support. Looks like we'll spending a few more bucks for our seats.

You can bring in your own seat back or even rent some in the stadium.

Most sit, but stand when something good happens. A handful will stand without regard to the people behind them. There are some on here who think only bad fans sit.

As the ticket prices keep increasing, I look for this problem to decrease. By the same token, if things too out of hand, you can always text stadium security and they will take care of it.

If I didn't have back issues I'd be standing for the entirety.

You cannot get the same volume by sitting down. Cheering is a full body activity and requires standing to achieve your maximum potential.

Fully participating in the student section is one hell of a workout
