In the mid 1980's we did play at some games but it was just the Court Jesters (Basketball Pep Band) and it was for a few games for a couple of seasons. Baseball was growing rapidly in popularity and Skip used every resource to him available to help gin up excitement for the games.
You don't need that now for LSU baseball.
BTW, band members, unlike the athletes, don't get have an Academic Center for Athletes so it did cut into our study time and jobs for some of us that worked evening/weekend jobs.

I think youre on to something. We dont need the entire band just 8-10 or so doing something in the 7th inning on big games. Reward the better musicians on a volunteer basis. I bet theres a group that could really rock that place. Let the players and coaches pick the music.
