it doesn't matter if a coach is conservative on offense, it matters if his offense is any good.

The only decent coach on this list is Herman. Fedora? really? and Jimbo's ship has sailed and I am glad, just don't see the attraction to Jimbo.
I know it sounds crazy but I think Bobby Petrino would really turn things around and getting him is actually feasible whereas Herman ain't gonna budge if he gets into the Big XII.
Petrino maybe a bit of a scumbag but he is a great coach. Look at the TV now and he is tearing apart Syracuse who LSU had a close game against last year when Syracuse was playing their 3rd string QB due to all the concussions.
Tiger fans would have to look past Petrino's slimeyness and would have to get over not being a power run team and accept a little spread in their lives but we'd win for sure. Watching tonight Lville game and you could see a guy like Harris flourishing in that style offense. Miles gets these "dual threaters" but then just has them drop back like Dan Marino without the pocket passer skills.
I'm all in for Petrino.

Yes it it" *
"Yes it it" * * Thank you !!! Figured that was the case if anyone with half a brain would want to replace Miles with Kiffin who was the first coach since 1964 to take a 1st ranked team to unranked in the same season. He had Coach O on staff and was fired the next season after starting 0-2 in the Pac-12.
Yeah, that's right the SOB started 0-2 losing to Washington St and Arizona St in the freaking Pac-12. Ha Ha, hopefully LSU hires him. Nothing like melting on the Rant baby.

Not suggesting we hire kiffin but to use Miles' past record as justification is a shortcut to thinking.

For the record, I am not advocating keeping Miles. But for anyone to suggest hiring Kiffin as a replacement is an idiot many time over. All a person has to do is look at his past accomplishments, which is NONE. He is a good OC and that is all.

Not my first choice either but no chance he can F it up more than Miles at this point. And I don't want to hear about his past record because it's irrelevant.

So a coach can't turn it around? How about years working under one of the greatest coaches in the history of CFB?

What makes gundy a great fit? As soon as he calls one play the rant doesn't like they'll come up with 638 corny al bundy lines

Fedora would come in a heartbeat.
What makes you so sure? You know him?

Franklin would recruit like crazy.
Not without connections in Nola or Houston he won't

Mullen would be solid with our talent but is way overpaid currently.

Todd Graham is underrated
By who?

Fuente is too unproven and a long shot.
How do you know he's a long shot? Dude could be a closet LSU
I'd probably guess that if they don't hire fisher, there's a damn good chance they'll get someone that's not even in your 'list'

I disagree, he was at USC and ranked #1 in the country with Coach O and wound up unranked at the end of the season. The first coach to do this since 1964. His best year as head coach he lost two games and it went to shite after that.
His past doesn't matter. Ha Ha Ha, only because looking at his past record shows he sucks more than most any coach in the country. Okay, hire him. WTF, I enjoy the melts on this board.
