msutiger.. I know this stat doesn't look right.. but it is.
Right now we average 6.5 yards/attempt.
Last year we averaged 6.7 yards/attempt

So many fans are so worried about stats...the only stat that means anything at all is W vs L. We'd all like to have a QB that's lights out from the gitgo...but last year, we asked an inexperienced QB to run the offense and the result was fans tearing the young man up because of mistakes. The 2003 and 2007 MNC were won with QBs that didn't light the stats up but made very few mistakes. Suppose, as so many have suggested, Miles and Crowton opened up the playbook and the young QB makes mistakes like last year...Geez, everyone here would be having a meltdown wondering if Les had learned anything from last year. Bottom line: If JJ is ranked 117 in passing offense and we win with great defense and a solid run game...then who the heck cares? We are a work in progress. Sit back, have a brew, eat some good food, and watch the Tigers win another one tomorrow...enjoy the game...every week we'll get better & better.

Become a Mizzou fan.
Quit being an LSU "fan" based on who the starting QB is.
Pathetic.

Hey POS do you EVER have ant positive to say? I am not saying that Jefferson is THE KING OF PASSING, but he has 5 career starts.
All in all, you are a douchebag!!!

Nevada fumbled on the 5 and Mizzou got a TD on a flag being picked up which was bullshite...
Mizzou has played BG, Ill, Furman, and now Nevada...
Oh and now it is 31-20

Not saying he sucks but his stats are definitely swayed do to the fact that he has played very poor teams... But I am sorry JJ sucks and Mizzou's QB is the shite make sure you cup Gabbert's balls when going down on him

hopefully we give keiland the ball the more to negate the ineffectiveness of jefferson and chuck scott

Explain to me how 5 TDs in 3 games is ineffective exactly? If you want to lay the blame in the right place look at the damn O-line and not at Jefferson or Scott... I know since they have the ball in their hands they are the obvious scapegoat but please know what the frick you are talking about before posting this moronic dribble...

I've been waiting all season for ESPN to even have a discussion about LSU, and this is what we get!! All I heard was Lou slamming Jefferson as a sub-par QB who could never take LSU to a national championship. What a bunch of assholes!!

The QB and RB struggles are connected. Our running game will continue to be poor until Jefferson can prove he a treat to pass for 250 on you. Until then teams will load the box and prepare for the run

did you watch any of the games, or just read the stat line?
he did make a nice 15 yard throw that toliver took 30 against washington. and that 3 yard pass to lafell where he shook that scrub from usl and scored
