I expected a little more scoring than 12 a game from Taz. Spencer and Tropical Storm have been the go to guys so far. We need a good 16-20 points from Taz tommorow.
There's a method to Taz's madness. What good would it do our team if Taz scores 30 a night and doesn't let the new guys take on their new role as scorers and playmakers?
If you have watched the games, Taz has not been calling for the ball or forcing the issue. Meanwhile, Bo, Storm and Harris are filling it up.
I'll admit he's not shooting the ball great, except for the last game. If you look at last year, he started off slowly also though. He'll be fine.

ellashoe, I like it. Much better than years past, until taz says this is lsu basketball... kinda corny.

Well done SouthofSouth....
I'm looking forward to another season. Your analyses are always spot on. Keep it up.

Yeah, I hated that crap with the cartoon basketball bouncing through the city.

is the game on XM? It doesn't appear to be. I'll be driving to Texas tonight and would rather listen on XM.

Kent Lowe update from NYC
12:05 pm EST
It is officially gameday. Team has just finished at Madison Square Garden with its shootaround and UConn is on the court now.
ESPN2 announcers Dan Schulman, Coach Knight and one of the top sideline reporters in the business, Doris Burke, were on hand.
They visited with Coach J, Tas, Storm and Bo afterwards to get some of the notes you will hear on the broadcast.
Now it is just a case of getting this bus back to the Marriott through this traffic which is noon-time jammed. But our bus driver is a pro and knows eactly how to beat a cab to the smallest hole in the traffic when it is available. Game time less than 7 hours away.

Not sure how you can honestly pick LSU to win this. LSU has nobody to stop Stanley Robinson and nobody quick enough to stop Dyson. This could get very ugly.

Most of his shots are drawing contact and getting to the line. I know that doesnt get in the stat book as a shot, but if you watch games he is really missing many more of his shots.

Excellent breakdown. I'll be in the Garden tonight cheering the Tigers on! We got into NYC early this morning and have been walking around since. I can't wait until game time!

damn, how much did that run yall? are you the red headed kid that used to sit in the student section?
Posted on 11/25/09 at 1:00 pm to Elleshoe
No, I am not the red headed kid. Its not setting us back too much. My roommate and I drove up yesterday, we left BR around 10am on Tuesday and got into Brooklyn around 8:30 this morning. We're staying with an old high school friend who now goes to Pratt in Brooklyn. All we really needed to pay for was gas and food. Student tickets are only $10 at the MSG box office.
