I guess some believe the proper response to the loss would be boo the Stony Brook players and coaching staff?

Yes. But I'm a sore loser.

But to be real, I bet those yankees were laughing at the stupid southerners. My guess is that most of them think their stuff doesn't stink, it's their nature. Hell, they were better drafted by MLB, BY FAR. It's not like they were happy to be here and pulled off a miracle. They know they're good. They don't need some LSU fans to tell them they're good.

It is possible to binge drink at LSU sporting events and NOT be a vulgar a-hole in front of the children and ladyfolk.

There's a difference between doing it, sobering up, and realizing you've acted like a child (something I still unfortunately find myself doing), and doing it, and thinking you're a bad arse.

Generally people over the age of 12 don't brag about cussing in front of children.

That's what I'm saying.

I know. I know. That and a lot of other attributes. A lot of people seem to have a severe case of short man syndrome.

And, honestly, I know better than to try to talk sense into an uneducated buffoon. It's pointless.

How is it a maturity thing all I'm saying is I'm gonna get drunk and I'm probably gonna say some curse words completely oblivious to your kids presence. Never said I was cursing out little kids

So here's the spectrum we have of fans. The over polite, congratulate the other team fans and then idiots like this binge drinking, cursing fool. Give me the over polite fans any day.

Yep. And, Monkey boy is talking to himself, now. He picked a good name, at least.

I don't see what the big deal is. I don't dislike SB and would rather of lost to them than the Gators or Gumps.

Sounds more like you think its no big that you "curse wherever the frick you want to." Most people realize that "cursing wherever the frick you want to" is not something you yell at someone. Its embarrassing, and although you have the right to do it, you look like a child when its done. An adult would apologize for it, not demand that he can do it "wherever the frick he wants."

I was honestly surprised at the back lash(by some) for allowing the SB team to run a victory lap.

Just didn't think it was that big of a deal. Still don't.

And to the people saying SB isn't the "David", they are wrong. SB will more than likely never...ever be back to Omaha. Congratulating them for a well deserved SR win was an extremely easy gesture and it said, "hey, you beat us, now here's to you going to Omaha and proving that you are as good as you showed us and go get some wins".

The box is the pinnacle of college baseball venues. The road to Omaha should always go through the Box, and if we don't win, we should congratulate the team that stopped us, move on, and turn our focus to next year.
