hopefully I see Mormann pitch tomorrow. They are playing 8 innings so I should see alot of pitching. The pitchers today threw 2 each, so I would think you see the same tomorrow.

watkins is quicker than jared. better baserunner if you can believe that. better outfielder and a better contact hitter. j mitch had some quick hands though. watkins will be a stud for the tigers.

Awesome, I follow the baseball team closely but not the recruiting side of things (other than glancing at the list when they sign).

I said this last year, but here it goes again. Ross' numbers stacked up last year against those of Bradford from '08. He was a solid #3 last year, but was overshadowed by two of the best arms in baseball last year, and, during the stretch where he pitched the best (end of season), he got no run support. I agree he has to get better, but what I'm saying is he wasn't as far off as some of you seem to think.

Watkins hands are so quick. Kind of reminds me of how quick Matt Clark's hands were. I was at the scrimmage yesterday. Before the scrimmage I watched the BP. Watkins stance is a little odd, but he gets contact and is actually pretty powerful for a small guy.

Austin Ross peformance today is off the charts. 6 Ks in 2 innings. There were 4 outs in the first inning because the innings go by pitch count. But the 2nd inning was normal.
Ill have a very detailed report later tonight.
