LSU Girls finish second with 105 points. Keep in mind these ladies are YOUNG, and they should be a force next season! However, it would be nice if they could lock up a good 400m runne or two.
Also keep in mind that Nickeisha Wilson was nearly 30 points alone, and she went pro early. LSU boys woud've done better if Coppage and Henning wouldn't have had such bad days.
Still a good effort on both parts!

henning won the weight throw like he was supposed to. i dont think he was expected to score in the shotput, and he actually put up a season best this weekend. did you mean someone else?
the men's jumpers all had very rough days, not just coppage. coppage fouled on all 3 attempts in both triple jump and long jump. hicks and haslom both came up over 2 feet short of their season bests. coming within even a few inches of their season bests wouldve scored points for each and likely put the men 4th. does anyone know why zedric thomas didnt jump? is he injured?
kenyanna wilson also false started in the women's 60m, she likely would scored points there that couldve changed the outcome

Oh, yeah, Henning doesn't throw the shot.
I Wilson's 60m hurlde fs, along with Latavia Thomas being stunned by Phoebe Wright of Tennessee summed up the Lady Tigers' results. You have o be excited that their's no question we return the most points going into next season. UT girls and Arkansas boys are going to e hit hard after this season. Our rebuilding year was this year.

definitely. i think the boys finished about where they were expected to, and it shouldve been higher. the women did much better than expected.
hopefully nobody turns pro early. if not, they should both be back at or near the top. especially with forbes and parson coming in for them men and pinckney for the women. too bad this will be trindon's last outdoor season.

Yeah, if they can sign that sophomore sensation Malia Kali (sp.), who is arguably the best distance runner to ever come out of La., I don't see how the Lady Tigers could lose an SEC championship for another four years. They're 1-2 good distance runners away from being unstoppable.

Oh, and they need some 400m runners!!!

Yeah, I think so. La. also has another ridiculously good pole vaulter...Lelloux, maybe?

Anyway, the Lady Tigers would be #1 and hoisting an SEC championship tophy in the air right now if Wilson had stayed.
people need to recognize what Shaver has done over the past few years!

Arkansas men's just keeps on keeping on.
Cobi Hamilton, who will run track at Ark as well as play reciever dropped a 10.4 100 this weekend.

Sorry, but a 10.4 won't do much in the SEC.
Congrats on your 325325789327543st conference title! You guys have the perfect formula to winning the conference.

Which means Holliday is a faster football player.
The dude can fly, but Crowton doesn't seem to think he needs to touch the ball that often.
