still you have to admit he just doesn't have the right attitude.

Im NOT disagreeing but the point the OP was trying to make it pretty fradulent. Im standing up for JJ about this specific thread, not his play on the field this season

Some might be extra riled up about this comment because he clearly couldn't even find a rhythm when he was taking every snap! He then has the audacity to say that the 2 QB system will make it harder? He needs to just shut his mouth and enjoy the LSU offense from the sidelines (or on the bench, moping by himself where he usually is when taken out of the game)

When has there been any indication that we will run the wildcat with RS?

I think there's a bit of overreacting in here due to that quote, but it damn sure isn't good. It comes across as wanting to blame something for poor play IMO.

Lee did his time on the bench, and it has seemed to help a little. He's fiery and seems to fight for the team. I remember after a handoff to Ridley went nowhere, Lee was attempting to block a D lineman for Tenn. I love seeing that stuff.

One of the best things I've seen from these two guys is when Lee was coming out in the 4th quarter, he held his hand out for Jefferson to give a high five. Lee patted him on the back.

Bottom line, Lee wants to win and stays positive. From Jefferson's body language and quotes like that, it seems like he is copping out.

The quote about him wanting Tiger fans to be patient with him, it's like he expected to fail. That's no way for a quarterback to act IMO.

Lee should be starter/play the whole game until further notice. Shep can get the snaps to run the ball if that's all JJ would do when he comes in.

if JJ is such the leader that the coaches have made him out to be, he needs to sit down in Les' office and tell him "Lee gives us the best opportunity to win games"

It's like he has the stubborn kind of confidence in thinking that only he can do good things. At least that's what his body language seems like.

I saw that too...After Lee led them on the final drive.

The question is:

"Would JJ have done the same....or would he have trotted off and sulked on the sideline?"

(I think we all know the answer, well except for Miles)

I agree. And it won't be clock management that ultimately does Miles in, it will be his blind loyalty to Jefferson. I don't know why he can't see what everyone else does so clearly. His lack of performance is one thing. His terrible attitude, body language, and utter lack of leadership or willingness to accept responsibility is far worse.

What JJ wants isn't relevant IMHO

He has been given his chance...time for team attitude, "If JL can do better, then he should start"

He best be focused on an Education, there is no future in Football for him as a QB.

We already know his reaction. It's what happened in the WVU game when Lee went in for 1 series.

Selfish comments, let's see the sunshine pumpers/positigers that have been trashing Lee and praising JJ defend this.

I've never been of the impression that JJ is a team player. JL is a team player. You can see it on the sidelines.

Big overreaction to this quote from JJ. He is down because he will be splitting time. Not the best quote especially from a junior starter who has had over a year to work out the kinks but nowhere does he say he opposes the 2 QB system.

Change the thread title.

What I was encouraged by is that all the other offensive players seem to have Lee's back. They seem anxious for him to get in there (especially the WR's, and I'm pretty sure the OL would concur).

Considering it means big $$ in the draft, a potential championship.....

Yeah, wouldn't you be excited?

I'm telling you guys for those who have never been part of a college locker room, all it takes is for a leader to emerge, one guy, to stand up and say "JJ isn't working I think the change to JL is needed and (example) us receivers stand behind JL"

That type of leadership is missed cause NO ONE has stepped up. Whoever besides JJ is the most trusted person by all on offense needs to step up and then the team's attitutde will be focused with moving forward with JL,,...then if JJ acts teh arse, tehy will not be kind to him. He needs to give the same support and effort JL has while he was sitting out.
